For the past 30 years, my practice has concentrated on achieving effective resolution of business disputes for my clients. While we are experienced in all phases of trial and appellate practice, our advocacy on your behalf will not be limited to litigation. In our experience, we have found that achieving your business goals might necessitate court intervention, but you may be better served through mediation or some other form of informal dispute resolution.
We will take the time to assess your legal situation, consider your risks and obligations and counsel you regarding a strategy that is tailored to your resources and business objectives. We will stay in close contact during the course of our representation, keeping you advised of all important developments and considering your input at every step.
From time to time, all businesses experience legal challenges that, if not resolved, could prove costly in both time and money. Over the years we have successfully assisted Kansas and Missouri businesses and individuals in numerous types of business disputes including:
- Enforcement of commercial leases and real estate contracts
- Business divorces (termination of relationships between partners, shareholders, etc)
- Enforcement of non-competition and non-solicitation covenants
- Mediation of business disputes
- Trade secret and confidentiality agreement enforcement
- Vendor and supplier disagreements
- Contract disputes
- Marital estate division
